PENA – KNPI Malut menyadari bahwa pengamanan pemilihan kepala daerah (Pilkada) saat ini menjadi perioritas Polda Malut. Itu sebabnya, sudah pasti Kapolda Irjen (Pol) Rikwanto memusatkan perhatian penuh pada pengamanan Pilkada.
Meski begitu, Ketua KNPI Malut Irman Saleh menyarankan Kapolda agar tidak mengabaikan extra ordinary crime (kejahatan luar biasa).
Menurutnya, di samping pengamanan dimaksimalkan, Polda juga harus serius mengusut dugaan korupsi dan narkoba. Khusus kasus dugaan korupsi, bagi Irman, Kapolda belum menunjukan keseriusan mengusut dugaan korupsi di Malut.
“Sudah saatnya Kapolda tunjukkan komitmennya dalam memerangi kejahatan luar biasa di Malut, terutama terkait korupsi. Kalau Kapolda tidak mampu mengusut satu saja kasus dugaan korupsi, sudah pasti ia tidak dikenang jika sudah pindah tugas,” ujar Irman.
Irman merasa yakin bahwa Kapolda sudah pasti tahu animo masyarakat Malut pada pemberantasan korupsi itu tinggi. Sehingga Kapolda tidak harus mengecewakan masyarakat.
“Ada beberapa mantan Kapolda yang berhasil menunjukkan komitmen dalam pemberantasan korupsi. Sedangkan untuk Kapolda yang sekarang, saya belum lihat bukti komitmennya dalam memerangi korupsi,” tutupnya. (*)
