PENA – Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Pentaan Ruang (PUPR) Provinsi Maluku Utara, Santrani Abusama, meresmikan Taman Pendidikan Quran (TPQ) Hidayatullah di Desa Toniku, Kecamatan Jailolo Selatan, Kabupaten Halmahera Barat, Senin (11/1). Santrani tidak sendirian, ia didampingi anggota DPRD Provinsi Malut Iskandar Idrus.
Dalam sambutanya, Ketua Majelis Pimpinan Wilayah Pemuda Pancasila Malut ini menyampaikan bahwa TPQ merupakan wadah yang dipandang efektif untuk membangun kepribadian generasi yang berakhlak mulia, yang dapat melahirkan tokoh-tokoh pembaharuan dan pencetak generasi-generasi tangguh yang siap meramaikan dan memperjuangkan dakwah Islamiyah.
Dengan adanya TPQ ini, diharapkan dapat membentengi anak-anak sejak dini dalam mendalami ilmu agama, serta membiasakan mereka untuk berakhlaqul karimah baik terhadap orang tua, guru, keluarga atau dengan sesama teman-teman mereka yang utamanya menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap Al-Quran. Semoga bangunan ini dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat Toniku, khususnya anak-anak santri Desa Toniku. “Harapan saya semoga dengan adanya TPQ ini, anak-anak bisa melakukan pengajian. Jadi belajar agama di Desa Toniku ini dipusatkan di TPQ ini,” ujarnya.
Iskandar Idrus menuturkan bahwa TPQ ini dibangun melalui partisipasi dirinya dan Santarani. Tujuannya untuk membantu masyarakat di Desa Toniku, khususnya anak-anak agar bisa melakukan pengajian dengan sendiri. “Adanya TPQ ini juga bisa bermanfaat dan menjadi ibadah kita semua untuk membimbing anak-anak kita dalam belajar ilmu agama dan bisa menjauhkan dari hal yang negatif,” tuturnya.
Sementara masyarakat Desa Toniku sangat mengapresiasi dan memyampaikan terima kasih atas dibangunnya TPQ tersebut. “Kami sangat senang dan bersukur atas bangunan TPQ ini yang bisa menjadi tempat pengajian anak-anak kami kelak,” kata Mahdi salah satu warga Desa Toniku. (ask)
