PENA – Satu pelaku pencurian barang milik Gerej El Shaddai di Kota Ternate yang ditetapkan sebagai daftar pencarian orang (DPO) oleh Polres Kota Ternate akhirnya dibekuk. Pelaku yang diketahui bernama Imran Tuharea alias Imran, 45 tahun, diamankan pihak kepolisian dari Polsek KP3 Ahmad Yani.
Kapolres Ternate, AKBP Aditya Laksimada mengatakan, pelaku yang berprofesi sebagai tukang ojek itu ditangkap pada Rabu (13/1) pukul 06.00 WIT bertempat di Dermaga Ahmad Yani Kelurahan Kota Baru, Kota Ternate. Saat itu pelaku hendak melarikan diri ke Ambon menggunakan kapal KM Dorolonda.
Pelaku Imran saat itu masuk ke Pelabuhan Ahmad Yani melalui pintu palang dermaga depan pos jaga KPLP. Apesnya, rencana pelarian ini diketahui anggota intel Polsek Ahmad Yani lantaran gerak-gerik pelaku mencurigakan dan wajah pelaku dikenali. Tak menunggu waktu lama, Kanit Intel Polsek KP3 langsung melakukan penangakapan.
Setelah ditangkap, pelaku lalu diamankan ke Polsek KP3 Ahmad Yani. Selanjutnya pelaku di bawa ke Polres menggunakan sepeda motor. “Saat ini pelaku sudah kita amankan untuk diproses lebih lanjut,” jelas Kapolres Aditya Laksimada saat dikonfirmasi, Rabu (13/1).
Sekadar diketahui, pelaku Imran bersama tiga rekan lainnya sebelumnya melakukan pencurian berupa satu set keyboard yamaha milik Gereja El Shaddai. Dua pelaku lainnya saat ini telah diamankan lebih dulu. Sementara Imran dan salah satu rekan lainnya ditetapkan DPO. Sehari setelah Polres merilis kasus pencurian ini, pelaku Imran ditangkap. Sementara satu pelaku lagi masih DPO. (nda)
