PENA – Menyikapi bencana alam banjir dan tanah longsor yang terjadi di beberapa tempat di Halmahera Utara, alumni Manado Maluku Utara atau mereka yang pernah menimba ilmu di Manado, menggalang dana untuk para korban bencana.
Pembentukan tim penggalangan dana itu dilaksanakan pada Senin (18/1) hari ini.
“Ini bentuk kepedulian terhadap warga korban bencana alam banjir di Halmahera Utara yang terjadi pada haru Sabtu 16 Januari 2021 lalu,” kata Koordinator penggalangan dana, Rais Yusuf.
Selain itu, relawan korban bencana Alumni Manado juga membuka posko penggalangan dana. Posko itu dipusatkan di rumah salah satu alumni Manado, M Rahmi Husen dengan alamat jalan Jati Metro, kota Ternate.
“Berdasarkan fakta bencana tersebut, alumni Manado sudah mulai menggalang dana bantuan sejak hari ini dan akan disalurkan sekitar sepekan kedepan,” jelasnya.
Posko bantuan bencana ini kata Rais akan terus meng-update perkembangan di lokasi bencana secara intensif serta memastikan kebutuhan pengungsi korban bencana sehinggga penggalangan bantuan dan penyalurannya benar- benar tepat sasaran dan sesuai kebutuhan korban pengungsi.
“Kita akan lebih fokus bantuan untuk kelompok rentan, seperti bayi, anak-anak dan kelompok lansia,” imbuhnya.
Rais mengharapkan dukungan semua pihak, terutama alumni yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah dan instansi di Maluku Utara. Rais juga mengharapkan para alumni atau siapa saja dan di mana saja berada, yang ingin menyalurkan bantuan bisa melalui rekening tim penggalangan dana di Bank BCA Ternate dengan nomor rekening (014) 7855255391 atas nama Rais Yusuf.
