PENA – Sengketa Perselisihan Hasil Pilkada (PHP) Kota Ternate dan Kabupaten Halmahera Utara masih berlanjut di Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK). Sesuai informasinya, PHP Kota Ternate dan Halut ini akan diputuskan MK pada 24 Maret mendatang.
Saat ini, masa jabatan kedua daerah ini telah berakhir dan jabatan pelaksana harian (Plh) wali kota dan bupati diisi oleh masing-masing Sekda yang ditunjuk Gubernur Maluku Utara.
“Jika proses di MK melebihi satu bulan, maka kemungkinan ada penjabat wali kota dan bupati. Kalau tidak sampai maka Plh yang mengisi kekosongan jabatan itu,” jelas Kabag Otda Biro Pemerintahan Pemprov Malut yang juga Plh Karo Pemerintahan, Taufiqurahman Marasabessy, Rabu (24/2).
Menurutnya, Kemendagri telah menetapkan pelantikan kepala daerah gelombang kedua untuk dua daerah ini pada minggu pertama atau kedua bulan April. Jika salah satu dari dua daerah ini sudah selesai diputuskan, akan tetapi waktu pelantikannya masih menunggu, maka kemungkinan akan diisi penjabat kepala daerah.
“Kemungkinan akan ada Pj. wali kota Ternate dan Pj. bupati Halmahera Utara,” katanya.
Soal usulan penjabat dua kepala daerah ini, saat ini sudah berada di meja Mendagri. “Tinggal di proses saja sambil menunggu keputusan MK,” terangnya.
Sekadar diketahui, untuk Kota Ternate terdapat tiga nama yang diusulkan untuk Pj. wali kota. Mereka adalah Kadis PUPR Malut Santrani Abusama, Kadis ESDM Malut Hasyim Daeng Barang, dan Kadis Naker Ridwan Hasan. Untuk Kota Ternate yang ada nama Santrani Abusama dan Hasyim Daeng Barang.
Sedangkan untuk Halmahera Utara terdapat tiga nama yang diusulkan, yakni Kepala Biro ULP Saifudin Juba, Kadishut Sukur Lila, dan Karo Organisasi Irwanto Ali. Untuk Halut yang menguat nama Kepala Biro ULP Saifudin Juba. (ask)
