Penamalut.com, Tobelo – Bagi siswa-siswi SD, SMP maupun SMA di Kabupaten Halmahera Utara yang putus sekolah, tidak perlu kwawatir.
Pemerintah Kabupaten Halut melalui Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Dikbud) menyediakan program Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) dan Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) untuk menyelamatkan anak-anak yang putus sekolah.
Kepala Bidang Pembinaan SMP pada Dinas pendidikan dan kebudayaan Halut, Jantje, menjelaskan bahwa program SKB dan PKBM merupakan program bagi anak yang putus sekolah untuk mendapat ijazah paket.
“Bagi mereka yang putus sekolah terus mau lanjut untuk dapat ijazah paket A untuk SD, paket B untuk SMP, dan Paket C untuk SMA, maka dapat mengikuti program SKB dan PKBM,” jelas Jantje kepada wartawan, Kamis (6/5).
Disamping itu, lanjut dia, pihaknya juga menyediakan Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) yang merupakan salah satu program prioritas pemerintah untuk jaring pengaman yang bertujuan membantu anak kurang mampu agar tidak mengalami putus sekolah.
Program PIP diterima berkelanjutan sejak sekolah dasar hingga perguruan tinggi nanti.
“Kalau sudah terima sejak SD, SMP, dan SMA, maka siswa tersebut juga akan mendapat Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) pada kuliah nanti. Asalkan dia telah memenuhi ketentuan persyaratan,” ujarnya.
Sementara untuk penciran dana PIP, kata Jantje, dapat dicairkan melalui rekening masing-masing peserta didik penerima bantuan PIP dan dapat dicairkan secara kolektif melalui bantuan pihak sekolah.
Besaran dana PIP yang nantinya diterima per siswa untuk SD sebesar 450 ribu SMP sebesar 750 ribu,
SMA sebesar 1 juta. Dana ini diterima dua kali dalam setahun dan dicairkan per semester.
“Misalkan untuk SD di semester pertama cair 225 ribu, semester berikutnya dicairkan 225 ribu lagi. Begitu juga dengan SMP dan SMA,” tandasnya. (fnc/red)
