PENAMALUT.COM, SOFIFI – Pemerintah Provinsi Maluku Utara melalui Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan Pendapatan dan Aset Daerah (BPKPAD) lagi gencar menambah pendapatan asli daerah (PAD).
Oleh karena itu, BPKPAD Malut mengupayakan sumber pendapatan baru yang selama ini tidak dioptimalkan. Salah satu sumber pendapatan yang tidak dioptimalkan itu adalah pajak galian kategori C (Galian C).
Selama ini, pajak Galian C di kabupaten/kota tidak tertagih, baik itu yang masuk ke APBD provinsi maupun APBN.
“Jadi akan kita optimalkan. Saya sudah perintahkan kepala kepala samsat kabupaten/kota untuk MoU dengan kabupaten/kota soal Galian C,” kata Kepala BPKPAD Malut, Ahmad Purbaya saat dikonfirmasi wartawan belum lama ini.
Mantan Kepala Inspektorat Malut ini menegaskan akan memberikan peringatan kepada kepala samsat yang tidak mematuhi perintah itu.
“Mereka (kepala samsat, red) harus buat draf MoU dengan pemerintah daerah kabupaten/kota. Karena selama ini pajak Galian C ini tidak tertagih,” ujarnya.
Selain pajak Galian C, lanjut Purbaya, pihaknya juga memcoba terobosan untuk pajak parkir berlangganan guna menambah pendapatan baru.
Pajak parkir berlangganan ini nantinya dibuat peraturan daerah atau peraturan gubernur tentang parkir berlangganan. Setelah itu dibuat, barulah Samsat kabupaten/kota melakukan penagihan.
“Jadi ini namanya ekstensifikasi pendapatan, dari pendapatan yang belum ada kita coba terobosan untuk dapat sumber pendanaan baru,” jelasnya. (Red)
