PENAMALUT.COM, JAILOLO – Inspektorat Kabupaten Halmahera Barat menemukan adanya penyalahgunaan pengelolaan Dana Desa (DD) di Halbar sejak tahun 2018 sampai 2020.
Akibat penyalahgunaan DD tersebut, negara dirugikan kurang lebih 10 miliar.
Kepala Inspektorat Halbar, Julius Marau mengungkapkan terjadinya penyalahgunaan DD tersebut pada sejumlah kegiatan fisik di desa. Pihaknya telah lakukan pemeriksaan dan ada progres pekerjaan yang belum selesai.
“Dari 10 miliar itu, sebagian sudah ada pengembalian sekitar 80 persen dan juga ada pekerjaan-pekerjaan yang belum selesai telah diselesaikan oleh pemerintah desa,” kata Julius kepada wartawan belum lama ini.
Selain itu, ada kasus korupsi yang saat ini sudah dieksekusi oleh Kejaksaan Negeri Halbar. Kasus tersebut diantaranya penyalahgunaan Dana Desa Togoreba Sungi Kecamatan Tabaru dengan kerugian negara senilai 424 juta tahun 2018 dengan terpidana mantan Kades Sefiyanto Tangono, dan penyalahgunaan Dana Desa Bobane Dano yang sudah diserahkan ke Kejari Halbar.
“Jadi harapannya untuk seluruh kepala desa di Halbar agar dapat mengelola dana desa dengan baik,” tuturnya.
Menurutnya, pengelolaan dana desa di Halbar masih banyak terdapat masalah. Buktinya, dengan adanya hasil pemeriksaan dan pengaduan dari masyarakat yang begitu banyak.
“Setelah kami telaah, salah satu penyebab penyalahgunaan itu kurang adanya pengawasan dari masyarakat dan Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD). Karena mereka tidak punya kemampuan keterampilan dan pengetahuan untuk mengawasi, dan bisa dikatakan bahwa kapasitas mereka masih rendah dalam melakukan pengawasan. Makanya saya bersama staf selalu memberikan bimbingan teknis,” pungkasnya. (yadi/ask)
