Kedapatan Jual Barang Kadaluarsa, Disperindag Ternate Ancam Tutup Indomaret

PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Dinas Pendistribusian dan Peradangan (Disperindag) Kota Ternate mengancam akan mencabut izin usaha pihak Indomaret yang menjual barang kadaluarsa.

Kepala Disperindag Kota Ternate, Hasyim Yusuf kepada wartawan mengatakan, terkait kejadian kemarin di Indomaret, pihaknya bersama Balai POM Malut langsung turun cek barang yang sudah expired.

Pada saat turun ke cek gerai Indomaret, pihaknya menemukan barang yang sudah lewat batas waktu berlakunya, namun masih saja dijual.

“Pada saat petugas turun itu pihak Indomaret juga tidak tahu. Kami dapatkan itu ada, ternyata salah satu jenis makanan yang sudah kadaluwarsa selama 4 bulan,” ujarnya kepada wartawan, Kamis (23/12).

Ia berjanji akan memberikan sanksi tegas kepada pengusaha yang menjual barang kadaluarsa. Namun sebelum itu, akan diberikan teguran terlebih dahulu.

“Jika tidak dihiraukan dan ditemukan pada tempat yang sama, maka kita ambil tindakan sesuai dengan aturan, izinnya juga kita cabut atau tempat penjualan tutup sementara,” tegas Hasim.

Ia juga menyebut sebelum kejadian itu terjadi, petugas sudah pernah turun, namun tidak menemukan adanya barang kadakuarsa di Indomaret. Namun entah kenapa barang kadaluarsa itu kembali dipajang.

Untuk itu, kata dia, perlu adanya pengawasan ketat.

Ia bilang, dalam sebulan pihaknya melakukan pengawasan sebanyak tiga kali terhadap barang-barang sudah kadaluarsa itu.

“Kami mengimbau pelaku usaha agar barang yang sudah kadaluarsa jangan lagi dijual. Jika ini kami temukan, maka sudah pasti diberikan sanksi,” jelasnya.

Sebelumnya, salah satu gerai Indomaret dibilangan Tanah Tinggi kedapatan menjual barang jenis mie instan yang sudah kadaluarsa. Hal ini kemudian mendapat protes dari pelanggan yang membeli barang tersebut. (udy/ask)
