PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Salah satu program tahunan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Islam Terpadu Albina Kota Ternate adalah berbagi paket sembako.
Kepala SMP IT Kota Ternate, Ahmad Yani Lewer saat ditemui wartawan, Sabtu (2/4) menuturkan, berbagi merupakan program yang dilaksanakan setiap tahun menjelang bulan suci Ramadan. Program tersebut, kata Yani, bertujuan untuk melatih para siswa agar bisa berbagi kelebihan rezeki yang mereka miliki terhadap yang membutuhkan.
Menurutnya, yang paling penting adalah menanamkan dalam diri para siswa bahwa dari sekian harta yang mereka miliki, ada juga hak-hak orang lain yang membutuhkan. Hal ini ditegaskan Allah SWT dalam Alquran surah Az-Zariyat ayat 19.
“Dan pada harta-harta mereka ada hak untuk orang yang membutuhkan,” ujar Yani menukil QS. Az-Zariyat.
Oleh karena itu, pihaknya membuat program tersebut untuk melatih para siswa agar memiliki sikap kepekaan sosial terhadap masyarakat.
“Alhamdulilah dari tanggal 28 Maret kemarin sampai hari ini, para siswa dan guru-guru kami sudah membagi 150 paket sembako ke sejumlah pondok pesantren, panti asuhan, anak yatim, janda-janda, serta kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan,” tuturnya.
Yani berharap melalui program tersebut, bisa membantu kaum dhuafa yang membutuhkan.
“Kami dari pihak sekolah mengucapkan terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya kepada orang tua siswa SMP IT Albina yang sudah mendukung kami dalam program-program sekolah. Mudah-mudah kita terus berkolaborasi dalam membentuk karakter anak-anak kita ke depan untuk peduli terhadap sesama,” harapnya mengakhiri. (tr3)
