Polda Maluku Utara, Kombes Pol Muhammad Erwin, mengunjungi masyarakat terdampak aksi kenaikan BBM di Kelurahan Akehuda, Kota Ternate, Senin (18/4) kemarin.
Kunjungan yang dilakukan pada Selasa (19/4) tadi itu sekaligus memberikan paket sembako kepada masyarakat sekitar yang terdampak dari aksi unjuk rasa tersebut.
“Kami sebagai aparat penegak hukum dan aparatur negara, kemarin melakukan penindakan represif terhadap mahasiswa yang melakukan upaya penutupan jalan dan anarkis di jalan Bandara. Jadi kami berkunjung ke masyarakat untuk melakukan
trauma healing yang terdampak langsung, seperti para penjual takjil dan bayi berusia 5 bulan. Kami kunjungi, Alhamdulillah bayi tersebut dalam keadaan sehat,” kata Muhammad Erwin usai membagikan sembako.
Erwin bilang, masyarakat yang terdampak langsung itu sekitar 25 orang. Namun ada warga di pangkalan ojek yang membantu juga diberikan. Kata dia, ini bukan untuk menepis isu, namun ini bentuk perhatian kepada yang terdamapak dari aksi.
“Dampaknya seperti gas air mata itu tidak tahu arah jalannya. Jadi berdampak juga pada anak bayi. Jadi kita harus kroscek bahwa bayi tersebut sehat dan sudah di bawa ke rumah sakit, bahkan sekarang saya cek lagi kondisinya sehat,” jelasnya.
Pihaknya tetap melakukan pemantauan terhadap kondisi bayi yang diduga kena dampak gas air mata itu. Pihaknya juga akan memantau melalui klinik Sat Brimob.
Ia juga meminta kepada masyarakat agar selalu waspada, karena sekarang ini dampak kenaikan BBM menimbulkan unjuk rasa dan reaksi dari mahasiswa.
“Memang boleh-boleh saja Unras, tapi harus dalam kooridor dan aturan hukum yang ada. Tapi ini semua sudah terjadi jadi. Saya lakukan trauma heling dan mengecek aktivitas masyarakat sekaitar dan semuanya normal. Tidak ada masalah,” tukasnya. (gon)
