PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Dewan Pimpinan Daerah (DPD) Partai Demokrat Maluku Utara (Malut) melakukan pembagian paket sembako di bulan suci Ramadan. Kegiatan berbagi tersebut dilangsungkan di Kantor DPD Demokrat, Kelurahan Tanah Tinggi, Kecamatan Ternate Tengah, Jumat (22/4).
Ketua DPD Partai Demokrat Malut, M. Rahmi Husen kepada wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG) mengatakan, program ini diberi nama Demokrat peduli dan berbagi. Karena keprihatinan Demokrat dengan kondisi masyarakat yang mengalami kesulitan luar biasa. Bukan hanya akibat dari pandemi Covid-19, tapi juga dampak dari naiknya harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM).
“Naiknya harga BBM memicu naiknya semua harga termasuk sembako. Oleh karena itu kami partai Demokrat Malut berkomitmen untuk berbagi,”ungkapnya.
Kata dia, walaupun terasa kurang tapi ini niatnya tulus untuk saling berbagi di bulan suci Ramadan. Jumlah yang dibagikan sebanyak 500 paket untuk warga Kota Ternate yang kehidupan ekonominya terpuruk. “Muda-mudahan ini bermanfaat bagi masyarakat,” paparnya.
Menurutnya, pembagian ini difokuskan kepada janda-janda, anak yatim piatu dan lansia yang berhak untuk mendapatkan paket tersebut. Atau mereka yang secara ekonomi susah itu yang diprioritaskan.
“Kita juga nanti menjelang lebaran pembagian zakat, jadi muda-mudahan berfmanfaat,” tandasnya.
Senada, Bendahara DPD Partai Demokrat, Nasri Abubakar mengakui, selama ini pihaknya telah melaksanakan kegiatan semacam ini dan hal itu merupakan bagian dari social responsibility. “Untuk pembagian zakat tiga hari menjelang hari raya Idul Fitri. Agar bisa digunakan untuk membayar zakat kepada Mustahaq dengan jumlah yang sama sesuai paket,” tutupnya. (*/gon)
