PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Penyidik Kejaksaan Tinggi (Kejati) Maluku Utara resmi menahan tiga tersangka dugaan kasus mafia tanah di Desa Nusliko, Kecamatan Weda, Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah.
Ketiga tersangka itu adalah WL, pegawai BPN Halteng. Sementara dua lainnya, UB selaku pemohon sertifikat, dan YI selaku Kepala Desa Nusliko.
Kasi Penkum Kejati Malut, Richard Sinaga menuturkan, perkembangan saat ini tim melakukan penahanan terhadap ketiga tersangka di Rutan Kelas IIB Ternate. Penahanan ini dilakukan karena dikhawatirkan para tersangka melarikan diri, menghilangkan barang bukti dan mengulangi perbuatannya.
“Atas dasar itu, tim berpendapat agar para tersangka dilakukan penahanan,” katanya, Senin (29/8).
ketiga tersangka ini ditahan selama 20 hari ke depan. Para tersangka melanggar ketentuan Pasal 5 atau Pasal 9 atau Pasal 12 huruf b Undang-Undang Nomor 32 tahun 1999 junto UU Nomor 20 tahun 2001 tentang tindak pidana korupsi.
“Ancaman pasal bervariatif, tergantung perbuatannya,” tandasnya.
Richard menambahkan, saat ini tersangka masih tiga orang, namun tidak menutup kemungkinan bertamba lagi sepanjang unsur-unsur atas perbuatan yang disangkakan terpenuhi. (gon/ask)
