PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Polda Maluku Utara akhirnya melakukan penahanan terhadap empat anggota Polres Halmahera Utara yang diduga melakukan kekerasan dan intimidasi terhadap salah satu warga Halut, Yulius Atu alias Ongen, beberapa waktu lalu.
Empat polisi itu saat ini ditahan di Polres Halut. Mereka adalah, Bripda FK alias Febrianto, Bripda SP alias Sofyan, Bripda DH alias Djarja, dan Bripda BRB alias Bram Ramos.
Kabid Humas Polda Malut, Kombes Pol Michael Irwan Thamsil mengatakan, ke empat polisi ini ditahan karena pelanggaran etik, namun pidananya tetap jalan.
“Ditahan karena pelanggaran etik,” katanya ketika dikonfirmasi wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Kamis (6/10).
Disamping proses etik, proses pidana ke empat terduga pelaku ini juga sampai saat ini masih dilakukan dengan pemeriksaan saksi-saksi.
“Kalau pidananya juga terbukti, maka akan ditahan juga,” tegasnya.
Sebelumnya, empat oknum polisi itu diketahui melakukan penganiayaan dengan cara menyeret korban dari teras rumah. Selain itu, korban juga ditampar dan dicekik hingga tak sadarkan diri. Bahkan disuruh meminta maaf pada anjing. (gon/ask)
