PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Tim Resmob Sat Reskrim Polres Halut berhasil melakukan penangkapan terhadap terduga pelaku tindak pidana pencurian kendaraan bermotor (Curanmor) di Kota Tobelo, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara. Selasa (22/11) malam.
Kapolres Halmahera Utara, AKBP Tri Okta Hendri Yanto, melalui Kasi Humas Iptu Kolombus Guduru membenarkan kronologis penangkapan tersebut.
Kolombus menuturkan, informasi bermula dari laporan warga setempat bahwa target operasi pelaku Curanmor sedang berada di sebuah counter yang berada di wilayah Kota Tobelo.
Tim Unit Resmob Polres Halut yang di pimpin KBO Reskrim Ipda Yacub setelah menerima Informasi tersebut langsung bergerak cepat menuju ke tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) yang berada di sebuah counter di wilayah Kota Tobelo.
“Kami langsung melakukan penangkapan tanpa ada perlawanan dari pelaku yang berinisial AT (19 tahun). Pelaku merupakan warga Desa WKO, Kecamatan Tobelo Tengah. Pelaku juga melakukan aksi pencurian ini sejak bulan Juli 2022,” jelas Kolumbus kepada Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Rabu (23/11).
Lebih lanjut, Kolumbus merinci barang bukti yang berhasil diamankan adalah 3 unit motor mio M3 warna hitam dan 1 unit motor beat warna hitam.
“Saat ini Tim Resmob Polres Halut masih melakukan pencarian dan pengembangan terkait 4 unit sepeda motor jenis mio, sedangkan pelaku saat ini masih dalam pemeriksaan lebih lanjut,” tutupnya. (fnc/tan)
