PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Penyidik Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Kepulauan Sula dianggap lambat dalam menangani kasus dugaan korupsi belanja tidak terduga (BTT) tahun 2021 senilai Rp 28 miliar.
Padahal kasus tersebut sudah dinaikkan statusnya dari penyelidikan ke penyidikan beberapa waktu lalu.
Lambatnya penanganan dugaan korupsi ini mendapat tanggapan dari praktisi hukum. Pakar hukum pidana dari Unikom, Dr. Musa Darwin Pena meminta Kejari Sula agar profesional, transparan dan akuntabel dalam menangani dugaan korupsi ini. Sehingga hal ini tidak berlarut-larut dalam penyidikan.
“Untuk itu, perlu juga menghadirkan ahli hukum pidana dalam bidang tindak pidana korupsi. Jika telah menemukan dua alat bukti yang sah dan meyakinkan, maka segeralah tetapkan tersangka,” desak Musa saat dihubungi wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Jumat (30/12).
Namun demikian, kata Musa, apabila penyidik mengalami kendala untuk menetapkan tersangkanya, maka tidak perlu berlama-lama dalam penyidikan.
Jika tidak ditemukan alat bukti yang cukup, maka harus dihentikan proses penyidikannya.
“Kalau tidak ada kejelasan dalam hukum, bisa menjadi pandangan masyarakat kepada penegak hukum kurang baik dan dianggap penyidik tidak profesional. Jadi harus diperjelas,” tandasnya. (ish/ask)
