PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Komisi Kepolisian Nasional Republik Indonesia (Kompolnas-RI) turut menyoroti dan meminta Polda Maluku Utara segera memproses terduga pelaku dugaan penganiayaan terhadap RG (20).
Pasalnya, RG yang juga merupakan salah seorang anggota Sabhara Polda Malut ini diduga dianiaya seniornya di belakang gudang Bulog Polda Malut hingga tak sadarkan diri alias koma.
Akibatnya, korban terpaksa dirawat secara intensif di ruangan Intalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) rumah sakit umum daerah (RSUD) Chasan Boesorie Ternate, Sabtu (14/1).
Komisioner Kompolnas RI, Poengky Indarti, menuturkan pihaknya sangat menyesalkan jika benar berita mengenai adanya perilaku beberapa anggota Sabhara Polda Maluku Utara yang melakukan kekerasan terhadap juniornya hingga korban tak sadarkan diri.
“Dengan adanya kekerasan ini, kami menduga masih ada praktek-praktek militeristik di Kepolisian yang merupakan warisan masa orde baru,” katanya kepada Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Sabtu (14/1).
Padahal kata dia, praktek-praktek militeristik tersebut seharusnya dihapus sejak masa reformasi. Jika praktek-praktek kekerasan di dalam institusi tersebut masih ada, maka besar kemungkinan sikap tersebut juga muncul saat bersentuhan dengan masyarakat.
Pihaknya berharap Bidang Profesi dan Pengamanan dan Dit-Reskrimum Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum Polda Maluku Utara segera melakukan pemeriksaan secara profesional, transparan dan akuntabel kepada anggota yang terlibat melakukan kekerasan.
“Sebagai anggota Polri, mereka seharusnya melayani, melindungi, mengayomi serta menghormati masyarakat dan menegakkan hukum. Bukan malah melakukan pelanggaran hukum,” tegasnya.
Karena itu, Poengky menegaskan jika benar terbukti mereka melakukan tindakan kekerasan terhadap juniornya, maka pihaknya merekomendasikan penegakan hukum berupa proses pidana dan proses etik agar ada efek jera serta memberikan rasa keadilan pada korban. Atasan langsung wajib diperiksa karena sudah menjadi tanggung jawabnya untuk mengawasi perilaku anggota-anggotanya.
“Kompolnas akan memonitor kasus ini dengan melakukan klarifikasi ke Polda Malut,” pungkasnya. (nda/tan)
