PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Satuan Reserse Narkoba (Satresnarkoba) Polres Ternate berhasil menangkap seorang residivis Narkoba jenis ganja.
Kapolres Ternate, AKBP Andik Purnomo Sigit melalui Kasi Humas, Iptu Wahyuddin menjelaskan, pelaku Narkoba berinsial MD alias Eza (30) ditangkap di Keleruhan Takoma, Kecamatan Ternate Tengah, Kota Ternate pada Sabtu (14/01) sekitar pukul 23.00 WIT.
Penangkapan ini bermula ketika Resmob Satresnarkoba mendapatkan informasi dari masyarakat adanya transaksi Narkotika. Setelah mendapatkan informasi tersebut, tim Resmob yang dipimpin Bripka Soedarmono melakukan pengembangan dan berhasil mengamankan terduga pelaku.
“Dari hasil interogasi dan pemeriksaan terhadap terduga pelaku, ditemukan bungkusan rokok surya yang berisikan Narkotika jenis ganja sebanyak 5 sachet. Terduga pelaku pun mengakui barang tersebut miliknya,” jelas Wahyuddin kepada wartawan, Minggu (15/1).
Setelah itu, lanjut dia, terduga pelaku maupun barang bukti langsung diamankan ke Polres Ternate untuk dimintai keterangan lebih lanjut.
Wahyuddin juga mengungkapkan terduga pelaku merupakan residivis kasus Narkoba yang pernah ditangkap Satresnarkoba Polres Ternate pada tahun 2015 lalu dengan barang bukti ganja dan divonis 9 tahun penjara.
Atas perbuatannya, pelaku dijerat dengan pasal 114 ayat (1) atau pasal 111 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 35 tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika dengan ancaman hukuman paling sedikit 4 tahun penjara. (gon/ask)
