PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Presiden Direktur PT.NHM, Haji Robert Nitiyudo Wachjo menggelar Gosowong syukuran sebagai bentuk rasa syukur. Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung di PT NHM Gosowong, Kamis (2/2).
Keberhasilan PT NHM itu ditandai dengan berbagai kebaikan yang diberikan Haji Robert kepada masyarakat lingkar tambang dan masyarakat Maluku Utara, seperti penanganan masyarakat yang sakit, bedah rumah dan berbagai kegiatan lainnya.
“Alhamdulilah kita bisa ada di sini bersama-sama karena kehebatan kita semua. Ini perusahaan saya beli bersama Ilham Habibie, dan dengan keyakinan bahwa material di PT NHM masih ada. Dan Alhamdulillah terbukti masih ada,” ujar Haji Robert.
Ia mengatakan, dibelinya saham PT NHM dengan cobaan yang begitu berat, pada saat itu pula, para karyawan tidak percaya bahwa PT NHM itu akan dibeli. Karena sumber daya alam sudah mengurang, sehingga New Crest ingin melepaskannya. Tetapi dengan kepercayaan, dirinya bisa meyakinkan seluruh karyawan untuk selalu berdoa agar diberikan kemudahan.
Sementara Bupati Halmahera Utara, Frans Manery l, mengucapkan rasa sukurnya karena ada anugerah Tuhan yang maha besar. Untuk itu, selaku pimpinan daerah Halmahera Utara khususnya lima kecamatan lingkar tambang, ia mengajak untuk sama-sama menjaga perusahaan ini.
“Ini merupakan aset kita semua, yaitu aset negara dan aset kita semua,” kata Frans saat memberikan sambutan.
“Kita tahu persis perusahaan ini, dan saya berniat menjadi bupati itu mau menutup perusahaan ini, yang pada masa itu masih New Crest karena betapa kecewanya kami pada saat itu,” sambungnya.
Tetapi, lanjut dia, ketika Haji Robert membeli perusahaan ini, ia hanya meminta dua hal, ketika Haji Robert datang meminta izin sekaligus kepala daerah.
“Dua hal itu adalah harga warga masyarakat dan menghargai pemerintah kita,” tuturnya.
Kata dia, apapun yang terjadi, mari bersama-sama bergandengan tangan untuk mencari solusi. Untuk itu, dirinya meminta kepada masyarakat agar tidak terpancing dengan berbagai isu karena sumber daya alam tidak akan habis.
Hal yang sama pun disampaikan, Gubernur Maluku Utara, Abdul Gani Kasuba, bahwq sebelum membeli saham PT. NHM, Haji Robert menyempatkan diri bertemu dengan gubernur di Jakarta. Dalam pertemuan itu, Haji Robert meminta izin untuk berkunjung ke Halmahera Utara dengan maksud meninjau PT NHM.
