PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Dugaan korupsi anggaran Covid-19 di Pemprov Maluku Utara tahun 2020 senilai Rp 163 miliar yang saat ini ditangani Kejaksaan Tinggi (Kejati) Malut mendapat sorotan dari Komisi III DPR RI.
Anggota Komisi III DPR RI, Benny K. Harman, meminta Kejati Malut segera mengusut tuntas dugaan korupsi anggaran Covid yang dikelola Pemprov Malut. Hal ini, kata dia, karena menyangkut hajat hidup orang banyak dan nasib orang-orang kecil.
“Usut tuntas itu sesuai aturan hukumnya,” ujar Benny yang ditemui usai rapat dengar pendapat (RDP) Komisi III DPR RI dengan pihak Kejati Malut, Selasa (21/2).
Menurutnya, jika dalam penanganan kasus korupsi yang dilakukan oleh Kejati Malut tidak ada kemajuan, pihaknya meminta kepada Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) agar melakukan pemantauan. Pemantauan dilakukan di wilayah hukum Maluku Utara terkait dengan penanganan kasus korupsi.
“Kalau tidak ada kemajuan, kami minta kepada KPK supaya melakukan pemantauan. Jika perlu diambil alih penanganannya oleh KPK,” tegas politisi Demokrat itu.
Dia juga meminta KPK agar memantau semua perkara dugaan korupsi di Maluku Utara dipantau KPK.
“Semua perkara korupsi di wilayah hukum Maluku Utara supaya dipantau ketat oleh KPK. Kita sudah bicarakan tadi,” pungkas Benny. (gon/ask)
