Mewabahnya Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) di Indonesia merupakan masalah sekaligus bencana yang wajib diseriusi oleh pemerintah. Dan pemerintah secara tanggap dan tegas telah meminimalisir sedini mungkin langkah-langkah penanganan Pandemi Covid-19, melalui kebijakan dengan melakukan pembangunan infrastruktur kesehatan serta memenuhi sarana dan prasarana kebutuhan Kesehatan baik untuk pemenuhan penaganan pasien Covid-19 maupun pencegahan untuk pemutusan mata rantai Covid-19 di Indonesia.
Akibat dari pandemi ini, semua sistem baik sistem kerja, entah swasta maupun negeri, sistem pendidikan semua dilakukan dari rumah atau work form home dengan tujuan menghindari kerumunan dan kontak langsung, serta untuk pemutusan mata rantai Covid-19. Beberapa kebijakan yang telah dilakukan tentu berdampak pada ekonomi masyarakat. Seperti yang kita ketahui secara bersama 2 (dua) bulan masa pandemi yakni tepatnya di bulan April sampai dengan bulan Mei, akibat dari kebijakan PSBB dan physical distancing beberapa sektor perdagangan dan industri seperti, mall, restoran, perhotelan dan beberapa pabrik terjadi ketiadaan waktu kerja (di liburkan atau di rumahkan) bahkan sampai pada tingkat di PHK.
Efek terbesar Pandemi Covid-19 adalah pada daya beli masyarakat akibat dari minimnya pendapatan untuk keberlangsungan hidup. Sehingga Negara harus hadir untuk memastikan jaminan kesejahteraan sosial bagi masyarakat, berupa program bantuan sosial untuk memastikan kebutuhan dasar masyarakat. Seperti sembilan bahan pokok (sembako) dapat terpenuhi guna meringankan beban masyarakat.
Dengan keadaan dan kondisi yang sangat kompleks ini, sudah barang tentu semua elemen dan semua stakeholder harus berkolaborasi untuk saling bahu membahu dan turun tangan secara bersama untuk mengatasi problem yang terjadi dikalangan masyarakat, terlebih lagi bagi masyarakat yang terdampak secara ekonomi akibat dari pandemi Covid-19 ini.
Keputusan Pemerintah lewat Kementerian Sosial RI telah mengambil langkah tepat dengan melibatkan PT. Pos Indonesia sebagai mitra dalam penyaluran Bantuan Sosial (Bansos) di masa Pandemi ini. Selaku Sekretaris DPD KNPI Provinsi Maluku Utara, saya M. Ardiyansyah, memberikan apresiasi kepada PT. Pos yang telah berkomitmen dan turut mengabdi untuk ambil bagian dalam penyaluran Bantuan sosial Tunai (BTS) selama pandemi Covid-19.
Apalagi proses penyaluran BTS yang dilakukan oleh PT. Pos tetap menggunakan protokol Covid-19 sebagaimana yang diinstruksikan oleh Tim Gugus Tugas, dengan menggunakan 3 metode penyaluran diantaranya yakni, memberikan layanan lewat loket kantor Pos, yang kedua dilakukan secara masif berbasis komunitas (kerjasama antar lembaga) dan yang ketiga dengan memberikan bantuan langsung kepada masyarakat yang berhak menerima bantuan sosial dengan mendatangi rumah keluarga penerima manfaat (KPM). Metode ini sangat bagus untuk proses penyaluran bantuan, karena sesuai dengan letak geografis wilayah kepulauan Indonesia.
Tentu kita semua berharap proses peyaluran yang dilakukan oleh PT. Pos Indonesia ini berjalan lancar dan tepat sasaran, sehingga bagi masyarakat yang terdampak akibat dari Pandemi ini dapat terbantukan untuk meringankan beban dalam menjalani rutinitas kehidupan mereka sehari-hari. (*)
