PENA – Ujian Sekolah Tingkat SMA, SMK dan SLB di Provinsi Maluku Utara dimulai pada Senin (22/3) tadi.
Wakil Gubernur M. Al Yasin Ali dan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kadikbud) Malut dan jajarannya ikut memantau jalannya pelaksanaan US di sejumlah sekolah SMA, SMK dan SLB di Kota Ternate.
Sejumlah sekolah yang dipnatau itu yakni, SMA Negeri 1 Kota Ternate, SMA Negeri 2 Kota Ternate, SMK Negeri 1 Kota Ternate, SMA Negeri 4 Kota Ternate, SMA Negeri 5 Kota Ternate, dan SMK Negeri 2 Kota Ternate.
Ditemui usai pelaksanaan pemantauan ujian, Kadikbud Malut Imam Makhdy Hassan, menjelaskan bahwa pelaksanaan ujian sekolah yang berlangsung secara serentak di 10 kabupaten/kota di Malut berjalan lancar dan tidak ada kendala. Ini berdasarkan hasil monitoring dan pantauan jajaran Dikbud Malut di kabupaten/kota.
Untuk peserta yang mengikuti ujian sekolah, lannjut Imam, keseluruhannya berjumlah 19.606 siswa. Ini terdiri dari SMA sebanyak 13.575 siswa, SMK 5.969 siswa, dan SLB 62 siswa.
“Alhamdulillah pelaksanaan ujian hari ini berjalan lancar,” katanya.
Menurutnya, pihaknya mengutus dua orang perwakilan dari Dikbud Malut ke kabupaten/kota untuk memantau jalannya ujian. Hasil pantauan selama ujian berlangsung akan dilaporkan dan dilakukan evaluasi.
“Kira-kira kendala pelaksanaan di lapangan apa dan masalahnya bagaimana. Karena pelaksanaan ujian tahun ini diserahkan ke sekolah, dan kita akan melihat sejauh mana kemampuan sekolah melaksanakan ujian secara mandiri,” ujarnya.
Dirinya berharap pelaksanaan ujian kali ini tidak terjadi masalah. Namun apabila ada kendala, maka pihaknya akan melakukan identifikasi permasalahannya seperti apa.
“Saya juga berharap kepada seluruh peserta agar dapat melaksanakan ujian dengan baik. Karena ujian bukan sekadar menyelesaikan soal-soal yang ada, tetapi ujian dapat membentuk karakter siswa dari sisi kejujuran dan disiplin yang dapat membentuk pribadi yang baik,” pungkasnya menutup. (Red)
