PENA – Puluhan Mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Pertanian Kewirausahaan (STPK) Banau Halmahera Barat menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di depan kantor Bupati Halbar, Rabu (31/03).
Massa menuntut Bupati dan Wakil Bupati yang belum lama ini dilantik untuk melakukan perbaikan infrastruktur jalan, kesehatan dan juga pendidikan
Salah satu orator, Olsen Masa dalam orasinya menyampaikan, infrastruktur jalan di Halbar masih jauh dari harapan. Seperti di Sasur Goro-goro Kecamatan Sahu, hingga kini belum menikmati jalan aspal.
“Masa kepemimpinan James Uang dan Djufri Muhammad ini dengan slogan Diahi, kami harapkan untuk infrastruktur jalan harus jadi prioritas,” ucapnya.
Dikatakannya, terkait infrastruktur jalan adalah salah satu akses menghidupkan perekonomian masyarakat. Jika perputaran ekonomi lebih maksimal dalam satu kabupaten dibutuhkan infrastruktur yang memadai.
Dia juga meminta, Pemda harus segera merespon sepenuhnya segala tuntutan mereka dan secepatnya merealisasikan yang menjadi kekurangan pelayanan publik.
“Sesuai dengan tuntutan, kami akan terus menyuarakan segala tuntutan ini jikalau Pemda lalai menyikapi segala tuntutan,” cetusnya.
Selain itu, dirinya mengaku pada tuntutan diera digital ini menjadi kebutuhan yang mendasar ialah masalah jaringan telekomunikasi.
“Kita tahu bersama bahwa di era 4.0 berbicara soal akses jaringan internet sangat diperlukan, karena menurut pengkajian kami bahwa Pemerintah Halbar saat ini kurang memperhatikan persoalan fasilitas umum terutama soal jaringan telekomunikasi di kabupaten Halmahera Barat, terlebih khusus di kampus STPK Banau Halmahera Barat yang berlokasi di Goal Kecamatan Sahu Timur,” jelas Olsen.
Ia mengaku, berangkat dari aksi jilid pertama pada 16 september 2020 lalu sesuai dengan hasil hearing dengan Pemda dalam hal ini Dinas Infokom, telah menyampaikan pernyataan sikap pada pihaknya bahwa memberikan jangka waktu 6 bulan untuk mereka bekerja dalam merealisasikan tuntutan massa aksi.
“Namun sejauh ini sikap dari pemerintah daerah atau dinas terkait tidak berkomitmen dalam janji,” sesalnya. (*)
