PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Dalam waktu dekat, penyidik Reserse Kriminal Polres Ternate bakal menetapkan tersangka dugaan tindak pidana korupsi penyalahgunaan premi asuransi Nasabah pada PT. Asuransi Jiwasaraya area Ternate untuk pembayaran angsuran periode Maret 2017-Juli 2020.
Kasus tersebut penyidik telah melakukan penyelidikan dimulai sejak Oktober 2020 lalu. Ditahap penyelidikan, penyidik memeriksa saksi sebanyak 24 orang. Kasus tersebut oleh penyidik ditingkatkan statusnya dari penyelidikan ke penyidikan pada Januari kemarin setelah menemukan dua alat bukti yang cukup.
“Saksi yang kita periksa itu dari Nasabah yang masuk di wilayah Kota Ternate, Jiwasraya Cabang Manado, dan Jiwasraya Pusat,” kata Kasat Reskrim Polres Ternate, AKP Riki Arinanda kepada wartawan, Kamis (3/6) tadi.
Riki bilang, terkait saksi ahli, sejauh ini belum dimintai keterangan. Karena penyidik masih menunggu hasil audit kerugian keuangan negara dari Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP) Perwakilan Maluku Utara.
Jika sudah ada hasil audit, pihaknya dengan BPKP Malut akan melakukan ekspose bersama. Dirinya memastikan hasil audit ini dalam waktu dekat sudah ada.
“Setelah dilakukan ekspose, hasilnya akan diteliti oleh pihak BPKP Malut baru memunculkan berapa kerugian keuangan Negara. Karena ekspose itu juga berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan saksi oleh penyidik,” jelasnya.
Riki bilang, kasus tersebut dilaporkan beberapa waktu lalu terkait penggelapan. Namun ia memastikan kasus itu bukan penggelapan, karena menyangkut dengan keuangan Negara, sehingga masuk tindak pidana korupsi.
“Yang dirugikan uang Negara, bukan uang perusahan. Karena bukan perusahan umum, tapi perusahan Negara,” terangnya menutup. (Red)
