PENAMALUT.COM, SOFIFI – Pembangunan Masjid Raya Sofifi ditargetkan selesai September mendatang.
Dengan begitu, masjid yang nantinya digunakan sebagai lokasi pembukaan STQ tingkat Nasional itu sudah bisa digunakan pada akhir September.
Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Provinsi Maluku Utara, Djafar Ismail, menuturkan bahwa pada Oktober 2021 nanti, tidak ada lagi kegiatan untuk pembangunan masjid raya.
Sehingga itu, pihaknya menargetkan akhir September nanti masjid tersebut sudah harus dirampungkan.
“Makanya sekarang harus kerja keras. Setiap saat kita monitor terus pekerjaan. Kita kejar agar bisa selesai sebagaimana yang ditargetkan,” kata Djafar saat ditemui di kantor Dinas PUPR Malut, Selasa (29/6).
Ia bilang, pekerjaan masjid raya ini menjadi perhatian serius Gubernur Abdul Gani Kasuba. Sehingga setiap saat Gubernur selalu menyempatkan waktunya untuk memantau progres pekerjaan pembangunan mesjid yang dinamai Shaffa Khairaat itu.
Selain masjid raya, pekerjaan pendukung STQ lainnya yang saat ini dibangun Dinas PUPR juga terus dipantau Gubernur. Hal ini untuk menyukseskan event bergengsi tingkat nasional tersebut. (ask/adv)
