PENAMALUT.COM, JAILOLO – Komisi II DPRD Halmahera Barat mendesak kepada Pemerintah Kabupaten Halbar agar memperhatikan aset daerah yang ada di Kota Ternate.
“Jangan biarkan aset milik Halbar terbengkalai di Kota Ternate, pemerintah daerah harus mengurusi aset-aset tersebut,” desak Ketua komisi II DPRD Halbar, Nikodemus H. David kepada wartawan, Selasa (6/7).
Menurutnya, aset berupa tanah dan bangunan yang tersebar di Kota Ternate itu perlu di kaji agar menunjang pendapatan asli daerah. Apalagi kondisi keuangan daerah yang terbilang lemah.
Ia bilang, aset Pemkab Halbar ada benerapa yang sudah diserahkan ke Pemerintah Kota Ternate dalam bentuk hibah, namun masih ada beberapa titik lagi seperti di Maliaro dan Dufa-Dufa.
“Misalnya di Kelurahan Maliaro berupa tanah yang sudah ditempati masyarakat untuk membangun rumah, namun belum memiliki sertifikat tanah. Sementara di Dufa-Dufa yangbdahulu ditempati Dinas Pendidikan,” ujarnya.
Pemkab Halbar, kata dia, masih memegang sertifikat kepemilikan tanah tersebut. Ini artinya, legal standingnya ada.
Sehingga itu, untuk meningkatkan PAD, maka ini salah satu domain buat pemerintah daerah.
Niko juga menambahkan, jika itu bisa meningkatkan PAD maka harus ditingkatkan.
“Dari pada kita membayar pajak dan lain-lain. Kalau dihibahkan ke Pemkot Ternate ya dihibahkan, kalau mau jual untuk meningkatkan PAD ya dijual saja. Sebab dengan menjual aset itu, maka menambah pendapatan daerah yang istimewa,” tukasnya. (yadi/ask)
