PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Cara kerja tim Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Covid-19 Kota Ternate, dalam rangka melaksanakan edaran bersama forkompimda Ternate, disesalkan publik. Publik geram dengan kinerja Satgas Covid-19, setelah terjadinya insiden adu mulut masyarakat akehuda dengan tim Satgas Covid-19 pada Selasa (20/7) sore.
Pada insiden itu, tim Satgas Covid-19 dengan cara paksa ingin membubarkan masyarakat yang sementara menyembelih hewan kurban di halaman masjid. Terjadi adu mulut antara masyarakat dan tim Satgas Covid-19. Terlihat pula Kepala Kesbangpol Ternate, Abdullah Sadik yang diduga memukul tangan salah satu perempuan yang tergabung dalam masyarakat.
Dengan adanya insiden itu, arus kecaman publik ramai mengarah ke tim Satgas Covid-19. Dewan senior Pusat Studi Mahasiswa Kota Ternate (PUSMAT), Wawan Ilyas menyesalkan sikap tim Satgas Covid-19 yang datang di Kelurahan Akehuda yang pada akhirnya menimbulkan kegaduhan. Cara-cara yang ditinjukkan tim Satgas Covid -19 tersebut sudah menjadi tanda bahwa Pemkot Ternate seakan otoriter dalam menangani masalah seperti ini.
“Ini tanda pemerintahan yang buruk. Harusnya masyarakat keluar dan mengepung dan memberikan teguran keras kepada tim Satgas Covid. Dengan demikian mereka tahu bagaimana respons masyarakat ketika pemerintah bersikap otoriter. Apalagi ini masyarakat sementara merayakan idul adha. Apakah kelian tidak memiliki hati nurani,” tegasnya.
Wawan juga menyesalkan sikap Wali Kota Ternate, M Tauhid Soleman yang hanya memilih diam di tengah situasi yang sulit saat ini. Wali Kota harusnya keluar dan bicara, memberikan optimisme kepada masyarakat Kota Ternate bahwa situasi yang sulit, termasuk kondisi ekonomi yang buruk di tengah pendemi, suatu saat akan berlalu.
“Kepala daerah sekelas Ridwan Kamil, Anis Baswedan dan Ganjar saja keluar dan bicara memberikan pemahaman yang positif kepada masyarakat. Kepala daerah di Maluku Utara juga harus bicara, supaya masyarakat optimis, tidak bingung. Kalau anda hanya mengurung diri dan diam, buat apa anda jadi kepala daerah,” ujarnya menyesalkan, seraya mengajak mahasiswa dan aktivis di Kota Ternate untuk melakukan konsolidasi untuk melawan cara-cara otoriter yang ditinjolkan Pemkot Ternate.
Hal yang sama disampaikan anggota DPRD Kota Ternate, Nurlela Syarif lewat akun facebook-nya. Ia menyarankan tim Satgas Covid agar bersikap santun ketika berhadapan dengan masyarakat. Menanggapi insiden di Kelurahan Akehuda, Nurlela kelihatannya menyesalkan sikap tim Satgas.
“Kami tahu kalian (satgas) menjalankan tugas. Tetapi hari raya kurban itu hanya satu tahun satu kali dan panitia kurban sudah tidak melakukan kerumunan. Jadi jangan mengusik masyarakat dengan car-cara seperti itu. Kalau kalian datang dalam jumlah orang yang banyak, jangan-jangan anda yang bawa virus,” tutupnya. (ano/kov)
