PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula, Fifian Adeningsih Mus dan M. Saleh Marasabessy meninjau sejumlah titik lokasi banjir di Kecamatan Mangoli Tengah, Minggu (8/8) tadi.
Setidaknya ada tiga titik lokasi banjir yang ditinjau, diantaranya kali Wece di Desa Capalulu, kali Wainin di Urifola dan kali Wailiki di Mangoli.
Dalam tinjauan itu, Bupati Fifian berjanji akan segera mengatasi persoalan banjir ini.
“Segera kita atasi tanpa harus menunggu anggaran perubahan, karena ada dana untuk bencana seperti ini. Jadi jika diperlukan, langsung segera. Ini persoalan keselamatan warga, maka sesegera mungkin kita atasi,” janjinya.
Bupati perempuan pertama di Maluku Utara mengimbau warga agar tetap menjaga lingkungan sekitarnya dengan tidaj sembarangan menebang pohon.
Sekadar diketahui, ratusan rumah terendam banjir akibat hujan deras yang terjadi pada Sabtu sore pekan lalu.
Tiga desa yang terendam banjir tersebut yakni Desa Mangoli, Urifola dan Waiu. Akibat banjir tersebut, 112 rumah terendam banjir di Mangoli, 12 rumah Desa Urifola, dan 1 rumah di Waiu. (ish/ask)
