PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Pemerintah Kota Ternate diminta untuk tidak menutup terhadap hal-hal kecil seperti jalan berlubang.
Pasalnya, jalan berlubang ini bisa saja menimbulkan kecelakaan lalulintas bagi para pengendara.
Pantauan media ini di lapangan, terdapat 87 jalan berlubang yang tersebar mulai dari Kelurahan Kalumata, Tabona, Jati Permunas, Jati Metro, dan Tanah Tinggi.
Ahmad, Ketua RT 9 Kelurahan Jati Perumnas saat ditemui wartawan menuturkan, jalan berlubang atau rusak ini sudah lama di masa kepemimpinan Hi. Burhan, namun belum diperbaiki.
Padahal, kata dia, banyak pejabat yang kadang melewati jalan tersebut.
Bahkan, kata dia, pernah terjadi ketabrakan di jalan RT 9 ini lantaran salah satu pengendara sepeda motor dari arah timur dengan kecepatan tinggi yang mencoba menghindar dari jalan berlubang tersebut, namun tidak bisa mengendalikan sepeda motornya dan menabrak mobil tersebut.
“Jalan ini salah satu akses penting. Kami sudah sampaikan ke kelurahan, namun tidak tahu progresnya bagaimana,” katanya kepada wartawan, Selasa (34/8).
Begitu juga jalan berlubang di Kelurahan Tanah Tinggi. Menurut warga setempat, jalan berlubang ditepi jalan ini sudah lama. Jika dibiarkan terus, maka lubangnya semakin membesar.
“Ini kalau di tidak secepatnya diperhatikan pemerintah, maka akan mencelakakan orang. Pemerintah harus segera benahi,” pinta warga. (udi/ask)
