PENAMALUT.COM, TALIABU – Hujan deras yang melanda Kecamatan Taliabu Barat Laut, Kabupaten Pulau Taliabu sejak Senin (30/8) pagi hingga sore, mengakibatkan Desa Nggele terendam banjir.
Salah satu penyebab desa tersebut terendam banjir lantaran pada saat penimbunan badan jalan tahun 2019 lalu tidak dibuat drainase.
Warga setempat pun meminta Pemerintah Kabupaten Pulau Taliabu dalam hal ini Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Penataan Ruang (PUPR) untuk memperhatikan drainase dengan panjang 300 meter lebih.
“Karena ini adalah hal yang sangat mendesak, kami minta Pemkab agar segera membuat drainase ini,” pinta Anwar Launga.
Menurut Anwar, ada dua jalur air yang membuat rumah warga terendam air, yakni dari arah timur bagian ujung kampung, tepat di Dusun Permai, dan di samping lapangan sepakbola. Air tersebut yang mengalir dari Dusun Rambutan, Desa Onemay.
Saluran tersebut, kata Anwar, ukurannya kecil. Sehingga apabila hujan deras, maka genangan air di drainase bisa meluap dan menggenangi rumah warga.
“Jadi kalah dibuat drainase, harus drainase yang betonnya lebih tinggi dari badan jalan dan permukaan tanah. Sehingga apabila hujan deras, air yang tergenang tidak bisa meluap keluar,” ujarnya.
Sementara salah satu tokoh masyarakat Nggele, Asrarudin La Ane yang meminta keseriusan pemerintah desa maupun Pemkab Pulau Taliabu agar segera mengalokasikan anggaran untuk pembuatan drainase di Desa Nggele. Sebab sudah dua tahun lamanya masyarakat di Desa Nggele merasakan banjir di kala musim hujan seperti ini.
“Masyarakat selalu was-was kalau hujan tiba. Karena setiap hujan deras, pasti terjadi banjir, dan rumah warga akan tergenang banjir,” tukasnya. (ysn/ask)
