PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Puluhan wartawan di Kepulauan Sula melakukan aksi galang dana untuk membantu pembiayaan balita 3 tahun penderita gizi buruk.
Aksi galang dana yang dilakukan Senin (30/8) kemarin di sejumlah kawasan perkotaan Kota Sanana itu berhasil mengumpulkan dana sebesar 9 juta rupiah.
Balita penderita gizi buruk yang bernama Surahman itu diketahui sakit sejak tahun 2019 lalu, dan pernah menjalani perawatan di RSUD Sanana selama 4 bulan. Hanya saja keluarga pasien keterbatasan anggaran, akhirnya keluarga meminta untuk pulang ke rumahnya. Dari situlah Surahman tidak lagi terpantau, dan 19 Agustus 2021 baru diketahui pihak Dinas Kesehatan Kepulaun Sula.
Saat ini Dinkes Sula telah menangani biaya perawatannya.
Untuk membantu balita tersebut, wartawan di Kepulauan Sula turut memberikan bantuan melalui aksi penggalangan dana.
Salah satu perwakilan wartawan di Sula, Imelda Tude mengatakan, dari penggalangan dana yang dilakukan teman-teman wartawan itu nantinya disumbangkan ke orang tua atau pihak pasien.
Aksi yang dilakukan itu dengan harapan mendapat perhatian juga dari instansi lain di Kepulauan Sula untuk turut membantu pembiayaan balita penderita gizi buruk ini.
Terpisah, Kadis Kesehatan Sula Suryati Abdullah menyampaikan, pasien atas nama Surahman Soamole ditemui pada 19 Agustus 2021 malam. Pihaknya kemudian menjemput pasien tersebut pada 20 Agustus. Surahman, lanjut Suryati, sudah memiliki BPJS. Namun baru bisa diaktifkan pada 1 September mendatang.
“Ibu Bupati sudah perintahkan ke kami segera mengambil langkah cepat untuk penanganannya. Saat ini balita atas nama Surahman sudah kami tangani,” jelasnya. (ish/ask).
