PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Puluhan gerai Indomaret dan Alfamidi yang bertebaran di kawasan perkotaan Tobelo, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara, nampaknya dirasa masih kurang.
Lihat saha, 50 gerai baru baik Indomaret maupun Alfamidi akan hadir menghiasi wajah Kota Tobelo.
Bukan tidak mungkin, sebab ini adalah menjadi keinginan Pemerintah Kabupaten Halut agar 50 gerai baru itu segera dibangun.
Saat ini sudah ada 18 gerai Alfamidi dan 7 Indomaret yang telah beroperasi, sementara 9 gerai lainnya sudah tahap pembangunan.
“Pembangunan gerai Alfamidi dan Indomaret tentunya berdampak pada pengusaha lokal seperti warung-warung kecil. Tapi itulah sebuah dampak dari perubahan ada plus minusnya,” kata Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Halut, Erasmus J. Papilaya kepada wartawan, Kamis (9/9) tadi.
Dengan demikian, kata dia, warung-warung kecil harus meningkatkan daya saing. Namun diupayakan Alfamidi dan Indomaret untuk menjadi pengasuh bagi warung kecil.
“Mereka juga bisa mengarah ke industri-industri rumah tangga seperti mengasuh kreativitas ibu-ibu yang menekuni pembuatan kripik atau kuliner lainnya,” tandas Sekda.
Ini diharapkan warung kecil yang tidak maksimal, bisa mengisi produk yang berkualitas.
Sekda juga berharap 50 gerai baru yang akan dibangun itu nantinya memperhatikan BPJS karyawan dan tidak mengabaikan karyawan dengan masa percobaan 6 bulan.
“Tidak bisa seperti itu, karena setiap mereka direkrut dan bekerja itu manajemen sudah bisa alokasikan mereka masuk ke BPJS. Kita tidak tahu dalam 6 bulan itu ketika karywan sakit, sebaiknya kita arahkan ketika mereka sudah bekerja maka sudah wajibnya mengikuti BPJS,” harapnya. (fnc/ask)
