PENAMALUT.COM, JAILOLO – Penanganan kasus dugaan korupsi dana hibah KNPI Halmahera Barat oleh penyidik Polres Halbar sudah ditingkatkam ke penyidikan.
Saat ini, penyidik tinggal menunggu pemeriksaan saksi dari Ambon, selanjutnya menetapkan tersangkanya. Polres Halbar berjanji kurang dari 3 bulan, kasus tersebut sudah bakalan ada tersangkanya.
Kasat Reskrim Polres Halbar, Iptu Ambo Welang mengatakan, dalam waktu dekat bakal ada penetapan tersangka.
“Untuk kasus ini tidak sampai tiga bulan sudah ada penetapan tersangka. Kami usahakan tidak sampai tiga bulan,” ujarnya saat dikonfirmasi wartawan, Selasa (21/9) kemarin.
Ia bilang, jika sudah dilakukan pemeriksaan seluruh saksi, maka setelah penetapan tersangka langsung dilakukan penyerahan tahap satu.
Mantan Kasatreskrim Polres Haltim ini juga menyebutkan, sampai saat ini sudah lebih dari 10 saksi yang diperiksa. Bahkan mantan Ketua, Sekretaris dan Bendahara KNPI telah diperiksa.
“Saya sudah dari Tobelo, Haltim dan Sanana untuk pemeriksaan saksi. Rencananya kami bakal ke Ambon untuk pemeriksaan salah satu saksi lagi,” katanya.
Terkait berapa calon tersangka dalam kasus ini, Ambo belum bisa membukanya ke publik. Ia menyebut kasus dugaan korupsi dana hibah KNPI ini kerugian negaranya mencapai 300 juta lebih. (adi/ask)
