Kelangkaan bahan bakar minyak (BBM) jenis minyak tanah ini sangat berdampak terhadap masyarakat, terutama para penjual sayur masak yang bergantung terhadap BBM tersebut.
Ophi, salah satu penjual sayur masak di Kota Jailolo mengaku, minyak tanah saat ini sangat susah dicari. Ia sudah berkeliling di Jailolo sampai ke Sahu Timur baru ketemu.
“Setelah lama keliling baru dapat di Dusun Jati Jailolo, itupun hanya dapat 5 liter, karena stoknya tinggal itu saja. Harganya 9 ribu,” ujar Ophi kepada wartawan, Senin (11/10).
Kelangkaan minyak tanah ini, kata dia, dampaknya sangat dirasakan. Sebab untuk untuk keperluan memasak hanya bergantung pada minyak tanah.
“Torang (kami) tidak pakai gas, cuma andalkan kompor sumbu. Jadi kebutuhan minyak tanah ini sangat kami butuh,” terangnya. (adi/ask)
