PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Wali Kota Ternate, M. Tauhid Soleman, resmi membuka kegiatan Expo Segitiga Emas tahun 2021, Kamis (9/12) tadi.
Wali Kota M. Tauhid Soleman dalam sambutan mengatakan, kegiatan ini merupakan sebuah komitmen sekaligus momentum dan peluang yang baik bagi ketiga daerah dalam mewujudkan kemandirian kawasan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
Expo Segitiga Emas ini sebuah langkah awal untuk memperluas kerjasama antar tiga daerah, yakni Kota Ternate, Kota Tidore Kepulauan, dan Kabupaten Halmahera Barat. Ketiga daerah ini memiliki kekayaan pariwisata, seperti pariwisata alam, sejarah dan budaya, hingga dikenal di dunia internasional.
Sebagai bagian dari masyarakat Maluku Utara, sudah barang
tentu kita semua mempunyai keinginan dan cita-cita yang sama
untuk membangun Maluku utara dikenal sampai ke penjuru
dunia.
Langkah sinergi dan kerja sama antara Kota Ternate, Kota Tidore Kepulauan dan Kabupaten Halmahera Barat dalam mengangkat potensi komoditi unggulan utama di tiga daerah ini untuk menciptakan keterpaduan pembangunan dan konektivitas antar wilayah terdekat dan mewujudkan efesiensi, efektivitas dan sinergitas program strategis bersama di bidang pertanian, perikanan dan kepariwisataan, serta di bidang lain yang dianggap strategis.
“Kerja sama antar daerah ini bertujuan mewujudkan konektivitas antara wilayah terdekat melalui keterpaduan program strategis antar daerah dan membentuk simpul-simpul pertumbuhan ekonomi baru,” jelasnya.
Menurut dia, berdasarkan potensi dan karakteristik geografis yang diharapkan mengerucut menjadi poros utama kawasan Segitiga Emas Ternate, Tidore dan Jailolo, sekaligus menjadi lokomotif pertumbuhan ekonomi Maluku Utara, juga bagian dari implementasi program prioritas nasional poros maritim dan tol
laut.
Kota Ternate, Kota Tidore Kepulauan dan Kabupaten Halmahera Barat merupakan daerah strategis Segitiga Emas bagi Provinsi Maluku Utara yang diharapkan dapat mendorong para Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) di daerah tersebut, sehingga semakin berkembang dan dapat dijadikan dalam satu kawasan sentral.
“Untuk itu, diharapkan segitiga emas ini dilaksanakan bersinergi, berkesinambungan dan tepat sasaran. Saya berharap pelaksanaan acara pembukaan Expo Segitiga Emas selama tiga hari ini nantinya dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat Kota Ternate, Kota Tidore Kepulauan dan Kabupaten Halmahera Barat, terutama pada sektor perekonomian dan perdagangan,” tandasnya.
