PENAMALUT.COM SANANA – Hujan deras yang mengguyur wilayah Mangoli Selatan, Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula, sejak Rabu (15/12) pagi hingga sore kemarin, membuat puluhan rumah warga di Desa Buya terendam banjir.
“Banjir terjadi sekitar jam 3 sore. Ada puluhan dapur rumah yang rusak,” ujar Mey, salah satu warga Desa Buya saat dikonfirmasi via telepon malam tadi.
Mey juga mengatakan ketinggian air hingga mencapai pinggang orang dewasa, namun tidak ada korban jiwa. Akibat dari banjir sejumlah perabotan dapur terbawa banjir.
Banjir ini disebabkan meluapnya kali di desa tersebut lantaran tidak adanya tanggul.
Atas kejadian itu, Mey berharap kepada Pemerintah Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula agar membuat tanggul penahan banjir di Desa Buya, agar air tidak meluap sampai ke pemukiman warga. (ish/ask)
