PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Nama Ketua DPRD Halmahera Utara, Janlis Kitong dibicarakan di kalangan publik Halut sebagai salah satu tokoh yang akan maju pada Pemilihan Bupati Halut tahun 2024 mendatang.
Meski namanya disebut-sebut akan maju bertarung, namun hal ini belum dipikirkan politisi Demokrat itu.
Janlis Kitong saat dimintai tanggapan hal itu mengungkapkan, sebagai politisi tentunya punya cita-cita ke depan. Hanya saja cita-cita politik itu menuju ke senayan.
“Cita-cita politik saya menuju ke Senayan, bukan di Kabupaten Halut. Persoalan politik pada 2024 itu bukan hanya popularitas saja, tapi juga harus didukung dengan keuangan, dan kepabilitas,” ujarnya kepada wartawan media ini, Selasa (21/12) kemarin.
Ketiga hal ini, kata dia, harus saling bersenergi, untuk menentukan sikap.
“Kalau belum ada, jangan dulu bertakabur. Untuk itu, sikap Demokrat pada pemilihan legislati (Pileg) dan calon kepala daerah akan selalu memprioritaskan kualitas kaders,” jelasnya. (fnc/ask)
