PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Pengolaan Plaza Gamalama Modern diserahkan ke pihak ketiga. Soal pihak ketiga siapa yang akan mengelola gedung yang dibangun pada tahun 2020 lalu itu, saat ini Pemerintah Kota Ternate melalui Badan Pengelola Pajak dan Retribusi Daerah (BP2RD) akan melakukan lelang pada akhir Januari 2022 ini.
“Kami target pelelangan Plaza di akhir bulan Januari ini. Proses pelelangannya akan melalui BP2RD. Sebab, pengoperasiannya diserahkan ke pihak ketiga. Jika proses pelelangannya sudah selesai, maka mungkin awal Februari sudah mulai beroperasi,” kata Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Kota Ternate, Isnain P. Siradju, yang ditemui di sela-sela pemantauan gedung Plaza Gamalama Modern di Kelurahan Gamalama bersama Komisi II DPRD Kota Ternate, Kamis (13/1) tadi.
Isnain bilang, setelah pelelangan dimenangkan pihak ketiga, maka selanjutnya diserahkan pihak ketiga untuk skema pengelolaannya.
“Apakah pihak ketiga mau pakai Matahari atau apa, terserah mereka,” jelasnya.
Sementara Ketua Komisi II DPRD Kota Ternate, Mubin A. Wahid, meminta pemerintah harus aktif dan action dalam pengoperasian Plaza. Sebab ini menyangkut investasi, maka kerja sama itu sangat diperlukan.
“Untuk mempercepat Plaza Gamalama Modern beroperasi, maka pemerintah harus action dalam pengelolaan aset ini. Apalagi ini soal investasi, maka kita perlu kerja sama. Perlu lobi-lobi dan butuh komunikasi. Karena kita tidak bisa tender begitu saja tanpa ada peminat,” ujarnya.
Politisi PPP ini menyarankan ke Pemkot Ternate agar bisa berkomunikasi dengan pihak Matahari, Hypermart, atau Mall lainnya.
“Sehingga mempercepat memanfaatkan aset ini. Pemerintah tidak bisa menunggu begitu saja, harus ada action,” pintanya menutup. (tr2/ask)
