PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Warga Kota Ternate, dihimbau waspada terhadap maraknya aksi pencurian akhir-akhir ini.
Polisi mendapat laporan dari salah satu pedagang di Pasar Bastiong, Kecamatan Ternate Selatan, bahwa kios pedagang itu dibobol maling.
Kejadian itu terjadi pada pekan kemarin, dan saat ini penyidik Polsek Ternate Selatan sedang mendalami pelakunya.
Kapolsek Ternate Selatan, Iptu Suherman mengungkapkan, keterangan yang didapat dari korban, Rustam, bahwa kiosnya dibobol maling dengan cara mencungkil pintu yang saat itu digembok.
“Pelaku itu beraksi sekitar pukul 04.00 dinihari atau menjelang subuh. Pelaku membuka secara paksa pintu kios, lalu masuk dan mengambil uang tunai dan sejumlah barang yang ada di dalam kios,” ujar Suherman kepada wartawan, Rabu (19/1).
Korban mengetahui kiosnya dibobol setelah diberi tahu oleh sepupunya, bahwa kiosnya dalam keadaan terbuka. Korban kemudian datang mengecek, ternyata gembok dan pintu kiosnya sudah dalam keadaan terbongkar.
“Setelah dicek di dalam kios, ternyata isi kios korban seperti rokok, uang sejumlah Rp 500.000 dan satu buah Handphone jenis Samsusng hilang di bawa kabur pelaku,” katanya.
Atas kejadian itu, korban mengalami kerugian ditaksir sekitar 4 jutaan rupiah.
Pihaknya sedang mendalami aksi pencurian ini. Suherman juga mengimbau kepada seluruh masyarat Kota Ternate, terlebih khususnya masyarakat di Kecamatan Ternate Selatan agar tetap waspada, karena sekarang ini lagi marak-maraknya terjadi pencurian.
“Saya minta warga harus tetap waspada, karena di awal tahun 2022 ini lagi marak-maraknya terjadi kasus pencurian,” pintanya mengakhiri. (tr1/ask)
