PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Harga ikan di sejumlah pasar di Kota Ternate mulai naik. Kenaikan ini dipicu tingginya permintaan ikan menjelang Ramadan.
Pantauan wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG) di salah satu pasar ikan di Kelurahan Dufa-Dufa, Kecamatan Ternate Utara, sejumlah jenis ikan mulai dari ukuran kecil hingga besar mengalami kenaikan harga.
“Ikan cakalang yang ukuran sedang ini kami beli langsung ke nelayan dengan harga 21 ribu per ekor, dan kami jual di pasar dengan harga 40 ribu per ekor. Sedangkan yang ukuran kecil, dijual dengan harga Rp 25 ribu per ekor,” kata Sri, salah seorang pedagang ikan saat ditemui, Sabtu (19/3).
Menurutnya, kenaikan harga ikan ini disebabkan tingginya permintaan ikan menjelang Ramadan.
Sementara terpantau di Pasar Ikan Higienis, Kelurahan Gamalama, Kecamatan Ternate Tengah, harga ikan cakalang ukuran besar mulanya dijual dengan harga 150 ribu per ekor, kini harganya mencapai 200 ribu per ekor.
“Untuk ikan cakalang besar ini, harganya 200 per ekor. Ada juga dijual dengan harga Rp 50 ribu per kilogram. Selain cakalang, ikan kembung juga dijual dengan harga 50 ribu per kilo. Begitupun dengan jenis ikan ekor kuning dan ikan lainnya,” jelas Amir, pedagang lainnya di Pasar Higienis.
Kata Amir, setiap menjelang Ramadan, harga ikan pasti mengalami kenaikan. Ini karena permintaan tinggi dan nelayan juga jarang melaut.
“Saya perkirakan kenaikan harga ikan ini akan berlangsung hingga satu sampai dua minggu di bulan Ramadan, dan akan naik kembali jelang Idulfitri 1443. Tahun-tahun kemarin juga begitu. Kalau sudah satu minggu masuk puasa, dia akan kembali normal. Nanti sudah mau masuk lebaran, harganya akan mengalami kenaikan. Tapi tergantung kondisi cuaca di laut juga,” jelasnya. (tr3/ask)
