PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Warga Desa Wai Ipa dan Desa Waihama, Kecamatan Sanana, Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula, saling bentrok pada Minggu (14/8) sekira pukul 17.30 WIT sore tadi.
Amatan wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG) di lapangan, warga dua desa itu saling serang dan lempar menggunakan batu maupun kayu. Informasinya, bentrokan ini dipicu tapal batas antar kedua desa yang belum diselesaikan.
Saling lempar ini berlangsung beberapa menit hingga aparat kepolisian dan TNI tiba di lokasi dan melerai kedua massa. Beruntung, kejadian itu tidak menimbilkan korban jiwa maupun luka-luka.
KBO Polres Sula, AKP Ayub Pati saat ditemui di lokasi bentrokan mengatakan, kejadian ini bermula ketika warga Desa Wai Ipa memasang tiang tapal batas desa pada pagi tadi. Namun pemasangan tiang tapal batas ini dilarang warga Desa Waihama lantaran tidak teerima patok tapal batas tersebut.
“Karena tapal batas antara kedua desa ini mungkin masih terjadi tarik menarik atau belum jelas, sehingga memicu kemarahan warga desa sebelah,” ujarnya.
Pihaknya berharap kepada pemerintah daerah maupun pemerintah desa setempat bersama pihak keamanan agar duduk bersama mencari jalan keluar untuk dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan ini.
“Masalah ini jangan lagi berkepanjang. Kita berharap secepatnya ada jalan keluar untuk bisa diselesaikan,” harapnya.
Terpisah, Asisten III Setda Kepulauan Sula, H. Jaidun berjanji akan berkoordinasi dengan Bagian Pemerintahan Setda Sula dan Bupati agar secepatnya dapat menyelesaikan tapal batas antara kedua desa ini. Sehingga tidak lagi terjadi konflik yang berkepanjangan.
“Kita akan berupaya menyelesaikan masalah ini secepatnya,” tandasnya. (ish/ask)
