PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula, Provinsi Maluku Utara, membuka pendaftaran calon anggota Panitia Pemungutan Suara (PPS) untuk Pemilu 2024.
Ketua Devisi Sosialisasi, Partisipasi Masyarakat dan Pendidikan Pemilih KPU Sula, Hamida Umalekhoa, mengatakan sesuai dengan jadwal, KPU membuka pendaftaran mulai 18 hingga 27 Desember 2022.
“Hari pertama pembukaan pendaftaran calon anggota PPS melalui aplikasi SIAKBA sudah sebanyak 54 orang yang sudah mendaftar, yang terdiri dari 12 kecamatan di masing-masing desa,” kata Hamida kepada Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Senin (19/12).
“Untuk pendaftaran hari kedua belum direkap oleh operator aplikasi SIAKBA, nanti pukul 04.00 WIT baru direkap,” sambungnya.
Ia menuturkan, di Kecamatan Mangoli Barat, terdapat dua desa yang belum ada pendaftarnya sama sekali, yaitu Desa Johor dan Desa Lelyaba.
“Kalau sampai berakhir waktu pendaftaran, tetapi masih ada desa yang belum ada pendaftarnya dan hanya 3 orang, maka kami akan berkoordinasi dengan pihak KPU Malut untuk perpanjang pendaftaran,” tuturnya.
Karena itu, pendaftarnya minimal harus 9 orang. Sedangkan kuota perempuan di masing-masi desa tidak ditentukan, sebab dalam Undang-undang pemilih juga berbunyi memperhatikan.
“Jadi peserta PPS yang mendaftar akan diseleksi menggunakan tes CAT dan wawancara dari 12 kecamatan di Sula,” tutupnya. (ish/tan)
