PENA – DPD KNPI Maluku Utara (Malut) menerima sumbangan hewan kurban 1 ekor sapi dari Polda Malut, Kamis (30/7) di kompleks Kubur Cina Kelurahan Santiong, Kota Ternate.
Hewan kurban ini nantinya disembelih oleh DPD KNPI Malut dan disalurkan kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan pada perayaan hari Idul Adha 1441 Hijriah yang jatuh 31 Juli besok.
“Untuk penyembelihan kita gelar pada hari Sabtu, 1 Agustus, atau H+1 Idul Adha,” jelas Sekretaris DPD KNPI Malut, M. Ardiyansyah usai penyerahan hewan kurban secara simbolis oleh Kompol Sigid Adhi yang mewakili Polda Malut kepada DPD KNPI Malut.
Ardiyan menambahkan, untuk penyembelihan hewan kurban dijadwalkan akan berlangsung pada Sabtu, 1 Juli atau H+1 Idul Adha. Usai penyembelihan yang dijadwalkan tersebut, hewan kurban akan disalurkan kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
“Kita sudah kantongi data soal warga yang berhak menerima hewan kurban. Untuk mekanisme penyembelihan dan penyaluran telah kita siapkan,” tambahnya.
Sementara itu, Kompol Sigid Adhi mengatakan, untuk Polda Malut sejauh ini telah menyiapkan 15 ekor sapi sebagai hewan kurban dalam perayaan Idul Adha besok. Selain diberikan satu ekor kepada KNPI, Polda Malut salurkan bantuan lain ke panti asuhan yang ada di Malut.
“Saya terima untuk sementara kita telah siapkan sekitar 15 ekor sapi, nanti akan ada tambahan lagi dan jumlah keseluruhan sekitar 23 ekor. Selain KNPI, hewan kurban tersebut juga kita salurkan ke panti asuhan dan langsung kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan,” tutup Adhi. (*)
