PENAMALUT.COM, JAILOLO – Pengungkapan kasus pembakaran rumah warga saat konflik dua desa di Jailolo, Halmahera Barat (Halbar), masih belum ada titik terang. Pasalnya, pihak Polres Halbar hingga kini masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memeriksa para saksi.
Kapolres Halbar, AKBP Indra Andiarta mengungkapkan, pihaknya mengalami kesulitan dalam memeriksa saksi-saksi lantaran beberapa di antara para saksi enggan menghadiri panggilan polisi.
“Tapi kami sedang usahakan (ungkap kasus pembakaran rumah) karena beberapa nama telah kami kantongi untuk ditingkatkan,” ungkapnya, Rabu (21/7), saat menggelar pemusnahan barang bukti di Mapolres Halbar.
Indra menambahkan, untuk hasil forensik yang dibantu oleh Tim Laboratorium Forensik (Labfor) Polda Sulawesi Selatan, dirinya telah memerintahkan Kasatreskrim dan penyidik Polres Halbar untuk ke Makassar agar mengecek hasil uji Labfor.
“Jika sudah ada hasil uji labfornya maka kami tingkatkan lagi untuk pemeriksaan saksi dan Kasus Pembakaran ini masih dalam tahap penyelidikan,” jelasnya.
Untuk diketahui, konflik antar kampung desa Bobanehena dan Payo pada Kamis, 13 Mei 2021 lalu, mengakibatkan 1 rumah milik warga desa Bobanehena hangus terbakar. Desakan untuk mengungkap kasus ini terus disuarakan, bahkan pemerintah desa dan warga Bobanehena, bersama keluarga korban sempat menyambangi Polres Halbar untuk mengungkap pelaku di balik pembakaran rumah.
