PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Penolakan masyarakat desa Ake Ara, kecamatan Jailolo Selatan, kabupaten Halmahera Barat (Halbar) terhadap penunjukkan Mikael Kanapa sebagai kepala desa (Kades) disikapi santai oleh Mikael.
Mikael menunjukkan sikap legowo meski ditolak oleh sebagian warga desa. Meskipun Mikael secara legalitas telah sah menjadi Kades Ake Ara melalui surat keputusan (SK) Bupati Halbar, James Uang.
Mikael ditunjuk Bupati Halbar menjadi Kades Ake Ara menggantikan Okto Mils Sahabang. Pergantian tersebut membuat sebagian warga menolak hingga memblokade kantor desa.
“Saya dan staf tidak bisa melakukan aktivitas pemerintahan, karena kantor diblokade warga,” kata Mikael, Senin (26/7).
Sikap warga yang tidak berkenaan atas kepemimpinannya, tidak serta merta membuat Mikael geram. Ia memilih legowo dalam menyikapi permasalahan tersebut.
“Saya mengajak kepada masyarakat Desa Ake Ara, agar hidup berdampingan dengan saling menjaga Kamtibmas dan kenyamanan,” imbau Mikael.
Mikael juga menerima keputusan yang telah diberikan dari sebagian masyarakat yang menolaknya. Bagi dia, itu adalah bagian dari semangat masyarakat dalam mengawasi jalannya pemerintahan di desa.
“Saya juga menyampaikan terima kasih atas terbukanya akses pemerintah dalam rangka memenuhi pelayanan publik desa,” pintanya mengakhiri. (PN/kep)
