PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan (DKP), Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula menegaskan akan menarik kembali rekomendasi pengurusan izin yang digunakan para nelayan pada Dinas Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (PTSP) Maluku Utara.
Pernyataan tegas dari Kepala DKP Kepsul, Sahlan Norau ini menyusul informasi adanya oknum nelayan di Kecamatan Mangoli Utara menggunakan rekomendasi tersebut untuk mengambil telur ikan di perairan Kepsul.
Padahal rekomendasi yang dikeluarkan DKP itu untuk mempermudah nelayan mengurus surat izin di PTSP Provinsi, bukan dijadikan dasar untuk penangkapan ikan atau mengabil telur ikan.
“Sebenarnya ini tidak boleh. Bunyi rekomendasi itu penangkapan yang dibantu dengan alat tangkap seperti pancing dan jaring, bukan mengambil telur ikan. Inikan salah,” kata Sahlan saat ditemui wartawan, Rabu (28/7).
DKP Sula, kata dia, tidak punya kewenangan untuk mengeluarkan izin bagi nelayan. Hanya karena wilayah beroprasinya nelayan itu di Kepsul, maka pihaknya berhak mengluarkan rekomendasi.
“Dan rekomendasi yang kami keluarkan itu juga diberi kesempatan satu sampai dua bulan, guna untuk mengurus izin. Apabila nelayan cuek dan tidak mengurus, maka kami tidak keluarkan lagi,” tuturnya.
Diketahui nelayan yang mengambil telur ikan di Kecamatan Mangoli Utara berinsial JR itu tidak memiliki izin penangkapan ikan atau mengambil telur ikan. Kata Kadis, ini merupakan salah satu pelanggaran admistrasi.
“Mungkin dalam waktu dekat kami akan menyurat ke oknum tersebut guna untuk ditertibkan. Kami juga akan memberikan pemahaman kepada nelayan kecil di Kepsul untuk mengetahui hal ini,” jelasnya. (is/ask)
