PENAMALUT.COM, SOFIFI – Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Maluku Utara, Imam Makhdi Hassan bertandang ke Kementerian Pendidikan Kebudayaan dan Ristek (Kemendikbud Ristek) di Jakarta.
Pertemuan yang berlangsung di ruangan Sekjen Kemendikbud, Ir. Suharti membahas banyak hal, salah satunya adalah peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Malut.
Kadikbud Imam Makhdi mengatakan, agenda yang dibahas bersama tiga direktorat itu mendapat respon positif. Salah satunya pemanfaatan dana bos yang sesuai mekanisme dan regulasi, serta pelimpahan kewenangan bagi sekolah, khusus olahraga atau SKO itu menjadi kewenangan daerah dan tanggung jawab satuan kerja perangkat daerah terkait.
Ia mencontohkan dinas kesehatan nantinya menangani masalah kesehatan atlet. Untuk dinas pendidikan sendiri terkait persediaan atau perumus kurikulum, termasuk keterlibatan tenaga pendidik.
“Kemudian ada juga pengembangan sekolah penggerak dukungan sarana dan pra sarana pendidikan di Maluku Utara,” ujarnya.
Selain itu, lanjut Imam, pengembangan kurikulum SMA/SMK juga menjadi fokus. Begitu juga peningkatan mutu pendidikan mencakup keterampilan usaha dan industri di setiap satuan pendidikan.
Agar supaya hasil yang diharapkan setelah lulus dari SMK bisa bermanfaat dan terserap dalam dunia kerja, terutama di bidang wirausaha dan industri.
“Prinsipnya Kemendikbud Ristek sangat mendukung, dan mereka menunggu usulan proposal untuk pengembangan SMK unggulan dan SKO yang akan dikembangkan di Maluku Utara,” jelasnya. (red)
