PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Bupati Kepulauan Sula, Fifian Adeningsi Mus bersama pimpinan SKPD di lingkungan Pemkab Sula menghadiri panen perdana rumput laut di Desa Malbufa, Kecamatan Sanana Utara, Senin (11/10).
Dalam sambutannya, Fifian menyampaikan bahwa dengan adanya potensi pasar yang sangat besar dan potensi lahan tambak yang besar pula, maka pengembangan budidaya rumput laut dapat meningkat dan dapat mensejahterakan petani rumput laut serta masyarakat Malbufa.
Mantan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Pulau Taliabu ini berharap Desa Malbufa menjadi desa yang mampu berdaya dan berkarya dengan pengembangan potensi yang dimiliki, sehingga dapat mensejahterakan masyarakat desa.
“Semoga apa yang jadi harapan masyarakat di Desa Malbufa bisa tercapai, sehingga masyarakat bisa bahagia,” harapnya.
Ismail, petani rumput laut Desa Malbufa mengatakan, rumput laut yang dibudidaya itu masih menggunakan sistem rakit apung, tapi hasilnya sangat maksimal dengan kekuatan tiga ton lebih.
“Semoga pemerintah daerah lewat Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan punya perhatian serius di sektor ini,” harap Ismail.
Turut hadir dalam panen perdana tersebut Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Sekda Muhlis Soamole, Kepala Dinas Perikanan.Sahlan Norau, Wakil Ketua DPRD Sula Ahkam Gajali, Kepala Desa Malbufa Hamis Umakamea dan masyarakat setempat. (ish/ask)
