PENAMALUT.COM, JAILOLO – Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Halmahera Barat menghentikan penyelidikan dugaan korupsi pekerjaan pemugaran Benteng Saboega di Desa Lako Akelamo, Kecamatan Sahu.
Diketahui, anggaran pekerjaan tersebut bersumber dari APBN Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan melalui satuan kerja Balai Pelestarian Cagar Budaya (BPCB) Maluku Utara sebesar Rp 1.399.981.203,97. Proyek ini terdapat kekurangan volumen pekerjaan.
Kasi Pidsus Kejari Halbar, Galih Martino Dwi Cahyo menuturkan, kasus Benteng Saboega sudah dihentikan sementara, sebab sudah ada pengembalian kerugian Negara dari pihak ketiga bersama dengan BPCB sebesar 200 juta sekian berdasarkan hasil perhitungan kerugian negara dari lembaga Politeknik Negeri (Poltek), Ambon.
“Pengembalian ini kalau saya tidak salah dilakukan sejak Agustus atau September. Pengembalian langsung dari kontraktor yang dititipkan melalui balai,” ungkapnya.
Dengan demikian, kata Galih, kasus ini dihentikan sementara karena unsur kerugian negaranya sudah tidak ada. Namun tidak menutup kemungkinan jika ada bukti baru, maka akan dibuka kembali kasusnya.
“Kasus ini dihentikan sementara, bukan di-SP3 secara langsung. Jika misalnya ditemukan bukti baru, maka akan dibuka kasusnya kembali,” ujarnya. (adi/ask)
