PENAMALUT.COM, JAILOLO – Gunung Ibu di Kecamatan Ibu Utara, Kabupaten Halmahara Barat, kembali meletus pada Sabtu (14/5) sekira pukul 18.07 sore tadi.
Kepala Bidang Kedaruratan dan Logistik pada Badan Penanggukangan Bemcana Daerah (BPBD) Halbar, Sofyan Aswat Saat dikonfirmasi wattawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG) menjelaskan, pada pukul 18.07 WIT talah terjadi lagi erupsi Gunung Ibu.
Saat ini tinggi kolom abu teramati kurang lebih 1.000 meter di atas puncak (± 2.325 meter di atas permukaan laut). Kolom abu teramati berwarna kelabu dengan intensitas sedang hingga tebal condong ke arah barat daya. Erupsi ini terekam di seismogram dengan amplitudo maksimum 28 mm dan durasi kurang 1 menit 11 detik.
Lanjut Sofyan, Saat ini Gunung Ibu berada pada status level II (waspada). Sehingga itu, masyarakat di sekitar Gunung Ibu maupun para pengunjung/ wisatawan agar tidak beraktivitas di dalam radius 2,0 km dan perluasan sektoral berjarak 3,5 km ke arah bukaan kawah di bagian utara dari kawah aktif Gunung Ibu.
“Jika terjadi hujan abu, masyarakat yang beraktivitas di luar rumah kami minta untuk menggunakan pelindung hidung, mulut (masker) dan mata,” pintanya. (uum/ask)
